"The mission of the Association for the Rights of Citizens with handicaps is to empower children and adults with disabilities to reach their full potential, and to increase prevention and awareness in the community."
ARCh was founded in 1952 by parents who dreamed of a world where their children with disabilities would not be discarded or disregarded.
Today we remain focused on our vision of building a world where all people are valued and encouraged to contribute.
ARCh promotes the health, safety and achievement of children and adults with disabilities.

Beginning Monday, June 1st, ARCh will continue to be here to serve the needs of individuals with disabilities and their families. However, visiting our office will be by appointment only and all visitors will be required to wear a mask.
Rather than stopping by, we encourage you to reach us via:
snail mail: 419 Frederick Street, Waukesha, WI 53186
During this time some staff will continue to work from home, but we are checking and responding daily to email and voicemail.
At this time large group functions such as Camp Pow Wow and Thursday Night Socials are on hold, but we continue to provide Advocacy, The ARCh Youth Team, Pow Wow Plugged In, The ARCh Life Needs Trust and a variety of parent resources.
Please let us know how we can help today!
Thanks to the generosity of the Pilot Club of Milwaukee, ARCh buddy Eli received a new adaptive bike from Western Wisconsin Wheels and spent the Summer cruising around his neighborhood.
