GAINS Summer Program – Summer Support Coach

Seasonal: Summer 2026 | Monday-Friday 

Menomonee Falls, WI 

Are you looking for an exciting and meaningful summer?  

Work in Menomonee Falls at GAINS, an energetic summer program for children and adults with disabilities! We're hiring responsible, caring, and fun Support Coaches to help run daily activities Monday–Friday 9–5 during Summer 2026.  

Spend your summer leading crafts, fitness, swimming, cooking, music, games and more in a supportive team environment! This leadership position requires a positive attitude and openness to learning. If you are in education, nursing, CTRS, physical therapy, health and fitness, or medical fields, the Support Coach role is great for experience and enhancing your abilities! Everyone is welcome to apply! 

GAINS serves individuals ages 6-65+ with a variety of disabilities, including Down syndrome, autism, and cerebral palsy. 

Positions are full-time from July 13–August 7, weekdays 9 am–5 pm. Paid training from June 22–26 is required and prepares staff with hands-on instruction, skills, and team building. 

Support Coach applicants must be 18+ years old. Junior Support Coach (under age 18) and Lifeguard positions are also available.

Support Coach Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Provide guidance, supervision, and encouragement to participants  

  • Maintain a positive attitude toward participants, staff, and the public 

  • Facilitate daily free-time activities 

  • Assist participants with personal care as needed 

  • Assist in the setup and cleanup of grounds as needed 

  • Ensure participant safety and follow safety protocols 

  • Attend all staff training and staff meetings 

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Applicants should be physically fit, including the ability to lift, turn, and wade to waist level. Reliable transportation to and from Menomonee Park is required. 

Sign language ability helpful, but not necessary.
