GAINS Summer Program – Lifeguard
Seasonal: Summer 2026 | Part-Time or Full-Time

Join the GAINS Summer Program in Menomonee Falls—a lively, enriching program for children and adults with disabilities. We’re looking for a lifeguard who can help create a safe, inclusive, and fun experience during our camp swims.
Two positions available:

Part‑Time Lifeguard, three to six hours per week, scheduled once or twice Monday–Friday, set around your schedule.

Full‑Time Lifeguard & Summer Support Coach, with three to six hours per week dedicated to lifeguarding and remaining hours spent as a Summer Support Coach, supporting participants ages 6–65+ with disabilities through daily activities such as crafts, fitness and recreation, cooking, music, and games.
Essential Responsibilities:

Provide active supervision in and around the water; maintain vigilance to prevent injuries and unsafe situations.

Enforce safety rules and respond appropriately to rescues or emergencies.

Collaborate effectively with coworkers and communicate clearly.

Observe and assess participant abilities, behavior, and safety risks in real time.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Reliability is essential. Transportation to Menomonee Park is required. Lifeguard certification is not required at time of hire, but candidates must be willing to obtain certification (provided at ARCh’s expense).
